Choosing the best LED screen for a conference room starts with understanding how the room will be used. A display for daily presentations has different requirements from one used for large conferences, hybrid meetings or event signage.

Beyond screen size, buyers should consider text readability, viewing distance, installation, audio and maintenance. Here are three practical LED display solutions—and how to choose the right one.

1. All-in-One LED Displays: Convenient for Everyday Meetings

An all-in-one LED conference display combines the screen, speakers and control system in one integrated solution. A motorized height-adjustable stand allows users to adjust the screen position for different seating arrangements.

This makes it a practical conference room display for presentations, training sessions and shared meeting spaces. Integrated systems reduce the number of separate components users need to operate, while a compatible mobile stand makes it easier to reposition the display.

Best for: Companies that want a complete meeting display with straightforward operation and flexible positioning.

Before ordering, confirm the available inputs, height adjustment range and overall dimensions. If the display will move between rooms, check doorway clearance, lift dimensions and floor conditions.

For hybrid meetings, plan the camera and microphones separately. Built-in speakers provide audio playback, but they do not automatically provide a complete video conferencing system.

2. Modular LED Poster Displays: Flexible Screens for Meetings and Events

LED poster displays are useful when a business needs both individual signage and a larger presentation screen. Compatible units can be joined side by side to form a wider LED video wall, then separated for use in reception areas, meeting entrances or exhibition spaces.

This flexibility makes them suitable for conference room digital displays that serve multiple purposes. Before an event, individual screens can show agendas and welcome messages. During the event, connected units can display presentations or promotional videos.

Best for: Hotels, event venues and businesses that frequently change their display layout.

However, not every LED poster supports seamless multi-unit operation. Confirm that the selected model includes compatible joining hardware, synchronized control and a suitable content layout.

For digital conference room signage, individual poster displays work well for schedules and announcements. For detailed presentations, check the combined screen’s native resolution and aspect ratio before deciding how many units to connect.

3. Fixed Indoor LED Video Walls: Custom Sizes for Permanent Rooms

Fixed indoor LED video walls are suitable for boardrooms, training centers and conference halls that need a permanent display. Their modular construction allows the screen dimensions to suit the wall and the room layout.

There are three common installation approaches:

Installation optionMain advantageWhat to consider
Die-cast aluminum cabinetsPrecision cabinet alignment and a structured installation systemHigher initial cost than some simpler structures
Simple steel cabinetsA practical option for projects with tighter budgetsCabinet weight, alignment and access for servicing
Modules mounted on a supporting frameCan reduce cabinet costsFrame accuracy, wiring, protection and installation labor

Best for: Permanent meeting spaces where screen size and installation can be planned in advance.

Compare the complete installed cost rather than cabinet prices alone. A lower-cost structure may require more on-site work, while a well-designed cabinet system can simplify installation and servicing.

Pixel Pitch and Resolution: Make Small Text Readable

Pixel pitch is the distance between adjacent LED pixel centers. A smaller pitch provides more pixels within the same screen area, helping display finer text and graphics.

For conference rooms, the nearest viewing position and the type of content matter. Large slides and videos are less demanding than spreadsheets, engineering drawings or dashboards. Pixel pitch and viewing distance should therefore be assessed together.

Also check the screen’s native resolution. For example, a screen measuring approximately 4.8 × 2.7 meters at P2.5 provides around 1920 × 1080 pixels. A smaller P2.5 screen contains fewer pixels, even if its controller accepts a 4K input.

Ask to view your own presentation files on a sample screen before purchasing, especially if small text is important.

Should You Choose GOB Technology?

For our SMD LED solutions with pixel pitches below P2.5, we recommend considering GOB—Glue on Board—technology, particularly where the screen may be touched or moved frequently.

GOB adds a protective layer over the LED surface, helping protect exposed components during everyday handling. It is especially useful for mobile conference displays and accessible installations.

It remains an option to evaluate against the application: request a sample and confirm surface appearance, repair procedures and warranty coverage.

Refresh Rate and Maintenance Matter Too

Selected configurations can offer refresh rates of up to 7680 Hz. A high refresh rate can help reduce visible scan lines during filming, making it useful for recorded presentations and hybrid meetings.

However, refresh rate alone does not guarantee clean camera images. Camera settings, LED scan behavior and brightness also matter. Test the proposed screen with your conferencing camera where possible.

Front or rear maintenance can be specified according to the product and installation. Front access is useful for displays close to a wall; rear access requires sufficient service space. Confirm access to power supplies and control components as well as LED modules.

Find the Right Screen for Your Meeting Space

Choose an all-in-one display for convenient daily use, modular LED posters for changing layouts, or a fixed LED video wall for a permanent installation.
